^The whole Paypal +3-4% is a major turn-off. Obviously you can price these at whatever you want, but generally the use of Paypal is a sellers convenience more than a buyers. Also Paypal discourages the adding of a 3% surcharge so when sellers add them it usually leaves a bitter taste in potential buyers' mouths. BTW I am not trying to create an argument I am just trying to answer your question above.

    Via Paypal Site
iv. The seller does not charge a surcharge for accepting PayPal payments. Sellers should not charge buyers any additional fee (or “surcharge”) if the buyer chooses PayPal as the method of payment.

i appreciate the thoughts, I hear what you're saying, I'll adjust it, TW was the first actual site where I learned about the paypal gift option, so although the gift option is preferred, I put the + 4% in order to deter the use of it, but i'm gonna adjust it, I figured it priced it high enough to cover any shipping to Cali or Washington state, but again prices are obo

Did you not read anything I actually wrote? He asked us a question and I gave an answer. Nothing more nothing less. He wanted to know why the wheel isn't selling and I gave him an answer. He can price it at whatever he wants and if he wants to adjust the price or not that is his prerogative, but don't come on here accusing me of smearing his thread purposely when all I did is answer a question he asked.

no worries gentlemen, it's all perspective, if someone is worried bout getting ripped off, and don't want to do gift, then they can just negotiate down the price to cover it. I actually see a lot of our members request either gift or plus fees, so i don't think that is the deal killer, but if you got bad vibes from it, then other members might as well, no biggie

I consider PP to be mainly a buyer's convenience

    For the seller:
    1) fees
    2) paypal reports to the IRS
    3) possiblity of a buyer filing a bogus claim in order to try and get a free item from you... in most cases PP favors the buyer
    4) rules; if your not up to date on them and a fraudulent buyer is.. you can lose a claim

OP - GLWS and consider accepting postal money orders as well. which are backed by USPS against loss, theft, and can only be cashed by the person whose name is on it. Also; they can be cashed at any post office so there is no paper trail to follow you.
