FS: 285/75r16 Cooper Discoverer STT Tires [Marietta, GA]

Hey all, I am selling a set of 285/75r16 Cooper Discoverer STT tires, just over 4000 miles on them, still have a crap ton of tread left, been all highway miles. Wanted to see if anyone is interested in them?

Reason I am selling? Gas mileage tanked not that it was great anyway, but I sold my second car and I have a decent commute every day so I need to get back the mileage that I have lost. I purchased them for $1150.00 would like to get $900 for them if possible.

These tires rock, but not for me. I will attach a pic of them on the truck, and when I get a chance I will get a tread depth measurement and post it.

Also if anyone is local, I am in Marietta, GA I would be willing to meet if anyone wants to see them in person.

Try posting them in the tires/wheel sections if you already haven't. By the way what tire pressure are you running? I was in the same boat you where in when I bought my Coopers. After some re search they weigh less than some all terrains. So unless you dont plan to go back to stock size/tread tires you maybe better off keeping them. Best of luck either way

 

I am running 35 psi in the tires, wanting to go back to 265/75r16 which is just a tad taller than stock. I will post them in the wheels and tires section tonight, I appreciate the heads up.

 

Marietta Georgia, the NEW home of the atlanta braves! Seriously though, you think they would fit a first gen with the front leveled? I know they wouldn't stock, but the inch of lift might be juust enough...

 

I put a 3" in the front and 1" in the back and the front rubs barely on the mudflap other than that not rubbing problems and that by the way is only when I turn wheel all the way to the left or right.

 

Quick side note if anyone is interested, will sell the wheels with them for an extra $200. They are Pro Comp series 31 flat black 16x8. So $1100.00 for the whole set.

 

Price changed to $1050.00 for wheels and tires. $850 for just tires.

 

I'll trade tires and wheels same tires but I have the rugged trail wheels! Haha glws!

 

Most recent pics, sorry wheels are dirty, haven't had time to clean them. Just kind of an idea of tread remaining, again just over 4000 miles on them.

Do you have a lift installed?

 

That is the only thing hitting on mine is the mud guards.

wheels and tires are sold. Thanks for all the inquiries guys. had a friend of mine meet me last night and buy them from me.

 

ok guys so these wheels came back to me, friend of mine bought them, then asked to return them the next day, and unfortunately for me, good enough friend that I gave him his money back. However I will be getting rid of the truck and they will not be going with it, and also i am taking the leveling kit off as well. so if someone is wanting to purchase these wheels and tires for the price listed in the poist, i will let the leveling kit go with them for an additional $100.00 pm me if interested!
