Thanks gents! I'm super pleased with how the whole build came together; the hookup from Dustin is just another cherry on top!

Just want to give an update, Dustin was extremely helpful and accommodating with my purchase. 5 wheels, 4 TPMS sensors (programmed and shipped out to me Next Day even though I am local, because he didn't have all of them on hand), 5 center caps, 4 centering rings. Everything was made easy for me, and I really didn't have to do any leg work of my own except to have tires mounted, which he would probably be able to do onsite as well if I asked real nice and scheduled it with him.

I guess this post is worthless without pics.

Konig Countersteer Offroads, 16x8, 4.5" backspace (offset is -12 I believe), with Cooper S/T Maxx in 265/75.

No CMC, no trimming, no rubbing whatsoever.

Suspension: ICON 2.5's with Billet UCA, set at 2.75" in front, ICON AAL and 2.0's set at 1.5"(?) in rear.

Pokes past the fender just a tad bit, which I like:

Would definitely do business with Dustin again without hesitation.

My Tacoma is Blue Ribbon Metallic. Has anyone put bronze or gunmetal Countersteers on the blue? Just wondering which would look better..

hey Dustin, bought my matte bronze countersteers a while back... just wondering if you have any matching short center caps for them? I have a set of tall black ones that I don't use cause I don't like how they look. haha

Crap...why did I have to find this thread with these wheels? One more thing to add to the list of "must-haves" which the wife seems to classify under the "why do we need that" category. :roll eyes:

What color do you guys think would look best on a Spruce Mica DCSB? My initial thought was the anodized bronze wheels, but I see they are discontinued with no plans for a reintroduction. Perhaps the matte bronze ones then...

Matte bronze for sure! I've got timberland mica, and went with the gunmetal. I absolutely love my color choice, but always wondered what the bronze would look like. My guess is bad ass for sure!

I guess I should start buying all the parts I need for a lift, and start saving for tires to go with the wheels. Man...this happens every time I get a new rig...

Thank you everyone for your posts and for your orders!

The you for the compliments and the kind reference! It was a real pleasure meeting you, and I am glad I was able to help out with the TPMS sensors.

The wheel offset is actually 0mm (4.5" backspacing is correct).

I love your truck too! Very functional and unique!

Howdy Mike! You should come by and say hello some time! I am a long time Corona resident. :)

PM coming to you! I did just receive a fresh shipment of graphite gunmetal from Konig.

Yes, I have them in stock!

I like the matte bronze myself. I haven't been able to find any photos for you in my gallery / archives, but bronze and blue is a great combination.

Gunmetal definitely will look good too, and we have a new color - anthracite gunmetal, which is lighter and a little more bluish grey than graphite gunmetal, that you might like too.

I do have short matte black center caps for the bronze wheels. Please give me a PM, call (951)735-1100 (FN Wheels office) or call / text my cell: (714)390-9387 if you want a set. :)

Matte bronze or matte black definitely looks great on Spruce Mica. Spruce Mica has a little bit of goldish bronze metallic flake, which goes great with matte bronze. If you want something more neutral then the matte black works well with Spruce Mica too.

    :)

You must admit it sure is fun though! :)

I have to say I'm partial to the matte bronze. I was considering the gold TRD wheels a while back since I thought they complemented the metallic gold flake in the spruce mica as you pointed out. However, I never pulled the trigger on those TRD wheels, so it is nice to see a great looking alternative that is available. Time to start saving up for a set.

And yes...I do enjoy modding any rig or go-fast machine I get my hands on. It is a sickness. :D

Don't know if I just can't find one, but would really like to see some anthracite colored wheels...anyone got a photo or a link?
