Tire Pressure sensors

One of my tires has a slow leak in it. I was thinking of using the green Slime to see if it will fix it. (worked well for me on a different truck) I was wondering if the green Slime would interfer with the tire pressure sensors?

 

i have been told that it would. i have not tried myself through.

I didn't know about any of that fix-a-flat stuff, though I've never used that stuff. I've only ever you used the "Slime" which just seals small leaks, but does not re-inflate. You make an excellent point about the mess to clean up though.

x2. Tire shops hate that crap too. I used it in dirt bike an ATV tires and dreaded changing the tires, that stuff gets everywhere. Do the soapy water check to find out where it's leaking and use a tire plug or replace the gasket on the TMPS sensor depending on where it's leaking.
