    i want to start a thread that have pictures of painted stock wheels on mag gray tacomas.

    please let me know what your color is called and how it holds up

    no biggie , thanks anyhow. what kind of paint, how many coats did you use a mod write up?

    I used:

    2 coats primer, 3 coats paint, and 2 coats clear.

    I wet sanded with P600 grit and then rinsed off good.

    do a search, I wrote a fairly in depth write-up about how i did it, and that was a year ago, went thru one heck of a nasty winter here baltimore last winter and they have held up better than I would have ever expected. Yes it works on aluminum. I have pics too
