265/70/17 Pics?

Would anyone mind showing me a picture of there Tacoma sitting on this size tire? I'm getting mine lifted sometime late next week and wanted to have an idea of what it's going to look like.
Thanks!

Just found out I'm getting 265/75/17 instead of 265/70/17. What's the difference?

My truck's speedo is showing I'm going 3mph faster than I actually am. Confirmed with gps, any of you guys notice your speedo showing the correct speed after you added a taller tire?

Sorry to hijack but what are you guys setting the caster to? All our trucks should have come with 265/70/17 or 265/75/16 tires.

The TRD Off Road comes with 265/70/16 and the TRD Sport comes with 265/65/17. All others come with a 245 width.

The "idea caster" can be found in this thread. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd...alignment.html
I have 265/70/17(31.6") and I'm running 2.8*. YMMV

Thank you. Yes, I'm aware that 2.4 is the sweet spot and that's what I'm running now but my tires are close to the rear. The passenger side rubs a little if I turn sharply up to a driveway. I will have to try out 2.8 to center the tire more. Are you running any kind of lift? Thanks.

Nope, no lift...unless you count the TSB.
I had mine set at 2.8 because I had wondering at highway speed and was curious what a substantal increase in caster felt like. I think it was around 1.8 before.
I'll probably run 2.6, after I get my OME kit installed. The steering is just a little tight for me at 2.8.
As far as tire clearance, I don't anticipate any problems...we'll see.

Are you guys saying, that if I put on 265/70/R17 tires on my stock 2008 TRD DC I will have to change my caster setting that it came from factory with?? Also will these tires rub on the UCA's or will it be just very close. Thanks

It is an "OM" symbol in sanskrit. In Buddhism it is often the beginning and ending of many prayers and mantras. I've also heard it described as "the Sound God made when he created the universe." Just a little reminder for me to think about the "Big Picture" and spend less time sweating the small stuff. FYI same Symbol in a tattoo on my arm.
