37" or 36"?? SAS

Well I'm in the process of finding a wagoneer axle for the front of my Tacoma SAS. I have a few questions about what tire size to run. For the most part I will be doing mostly trail/mud riding not any substantial rocks for straight rock climbing, hence why I'm going with the d44. I'm in a bind on what tires I'm going to run.. either

36x13.50r18 BFG km2's or 37x13.50r18 Toyo M/Ts

The 36 is actaully a little more pricier since it's a rare size, but I dont want to break d44 axleshafts already with the 37's before I buy chromolys.

Little more specs on my truck if you dont know I'm already rear locked and 4.88's so gears won't be a question and I'll probably be going with a ARB in the front since I already have onboard air.

 

Are you going to run fiberglass?

 

don't plan on it.. maybe for the front sometime but not in the near future until its full trail rig

 

I'd run KM2's over the Toyo's from my experiences with both of them. But what about running a set of 37x12.50 KM2's? Also, why the choice of 18's for an SAS trail truck? That kinda baffles me. I'd run 16's or 17's, and the tires would be cheaper then too....

 

I have the 6" Fabtech right now but ordering either Alcan or Deaver Leafs for the rear to replace the stock springs and block.. I'm doing 12-14" coilovers; which is enough to clear the 37" tires which is mainly what i'm lifting it to fit.

 

Only running 18's right now b/c I bought these 18x10 Classic locks and then sent them to be powdercoated and end up spending enough money to by a set of real walker evans beadlocks after buying the the full size spare etc. The km2's just seem to be more pricey especially since i'm staying with my 18's.
