Ok so I have a 2007 tacoma trd.
currently running these wheels, no lift, and have had no problems with rubbing what so ever... (My Truck has 4 leafs).

liquid magma 20x8.56-139.7hr18BMM
with tires
285/50r-20 112v B yok parada spec - X 00229

they are rusting out and I'm offered a deal, this is what I'm thinking of getting but need to know from someone with actual knowledge (work exp.) if this will fit.

American Outlaw Buckshot wheel
20x9 6 x 139.7 15 mm

tires
Cooper Zeon LTZ
285/50r - 20 1165xlb

Please help as I kinda need to decide quick.

As long as they are 6 x 5.5 you should be good.

Not neccesarily. Offset just tells you where the mounting surface is from the centerline of the rim. Concentrate on Backspacing. The lower the backspacing is, the further the tire will stick out of the wheel well.

IE; a BS of 4" will stick out further than a BS of 6" with regards to the same width wheel.

I really hate to ask these questions but before I buy I figured I'd ask away...since I live on an island where no one stocks anything of value, this is one place I know I can come for info...So here goes my question:

Looking at 18x9's, one has an offset of 0mm which puts me at 5" backspacing...from my understand this tucks the wheel/tire in under the fender well more. How much can I go before my wheel/tire combo hits suspension components? I'm not talking about rubbing because I know if I go crazy on the backspacing I will have crazy rubbing...is 5-5.5" too much? Should I stick with the standard consensus of 4.5"? I really do appreciate the help on this because I will be ordering and having them shipped to the island and I don't wanna pay all that and end up with shit that doesn't fit. Thanks guys!

17x9, 0 offset, 5" backspace Raceline renegade 6 with 285/70 no rub whatsoever no caliper issues either. I will say however that the majority of aftermarket wheels are lugcentric and need to be roadforced balanced. Issue is most people have no idea how to do this, so expect vibes when you drive

Wheel specs.

Anyone have backspace and offset info for stock 2010 17x7.5 TRD Sport alloys? Like to ditch 1.25 spacers and go with wider rims...thanks.

I plan on buying a 6" Procomp suspension lift and 20x9 Procomp 6007 wheels with 35" tires. On 4wheelparts.com this lift has a max backspace of 4.65 but the wheel has a 5.25 backspace. Is this procomp playing it safe or do I need to get some spacers? If I do need spacers, what size?

Ok I'm dumb ass here to all this I'm so fuck up from reading all this ... Can somebody just help me. I just got my rcd 4.5 lift kit for my 09 Tacoma it says fits up to 33/12.50/ and whatever rim you go with. But it say 4.5" backspacing. Dose that mean 4-1/2" backspacing I'm going with 33/12.50/20 so when I order my rims I just tell them I need a 20-10" rim with a 4-1/2" backspacing right and that will work ??? Thanks
