Eagle Alloys 185

Does anyone know if the Eagle Alloys 185 are flat (matte) black or gloss black? From the pictures I have found they are flat black, but I want to hear from someone that has actually seen it.

Is the correct part number 1852-7866?

Also, what are the drawbacks of going with a wheel that has a 4" backspacing. I have read here that it may require more trimming for 285/75/r16 tires compared to a wheel that it . Is that true? Will it have any long term effects on the truck?

That's the correct part number. There are no draw backs on a 4" backspacing. I think you read wrong as the the small the backspacing, the further the wheel will stick out from the frame. You shouldn't have any trimming issues with 4". They look like a matte IMHO.

I was thinking about getting these wheels when I recently did my new set up. Decided against it for no other reason than going with something else. Which I am happy with.

That looks to be a similar wheel to what I currently have on my truck & they are matte black, not gloss. Here is a pic of them, not a close up but only thing I have while at work.
