I've only been able to find a couple pictures of trucks with a 3" lift and 265/75/16 tires. I'm trying to see how the 265's look with a 3" lift vs. 285's, if anyone has any good pictures I'd like to see them.

It seems like most people with aftermarket wheels are going with the 285 width for the look, but I don't know if the added weight of the wider tire, having to trim the fenders of a brand new truck to get them to fit, killing gas mileage, and throwing off the the speedo/gearing even more is worth the look.

Tires will be going on 16X8 Konig Countersteer Offroad wheels, 0 offset and 4.5" backspacing. Thanks in advance.

Note that your sport wheel are 17's not 16's. TRD Off Road has 16" wheels

I have a 3" lift with 265/75/16. I do think 285's look better but the 265's are more practical for me.

i decided to "downgrade" to 16" because they are lighter, cheaper tires, better tire selection, and more rubber. i am tossed up between 265 and 285 width because i don't know if looks alone justify all the setbacks of the 285s. those pictures you guys posted are making me lean more towards 265 because it still looks good and is much more practical. you both happen to have the two brands i'm trying to choose between.

thanks for posting and if anyone has more pictures with a similar combination, preferably with any of the popular aftermarket 16X8" wheels they would be greatly appreciated.

Have you considered just doing a 2.5" lift with 265/75/R16? Look at all the additional requirements to get to that 3" I as well went with FN wheels Konig Countersteer Offroad's front are Billies 5100 set at 1.75 but I have an Offroad pkg. I do want to go a little higher in front but not to 3". Hoping for some reviews of Billstein's new 8112 package.

here is mine with the 285's and 3" lift. Im throwing mine in the mix, i am considering downgrading to the 265/75... and possibly ditching the lift or going smaller i guess.

What lift do you have? I choose 265's because they are way more practical for me.
