I read probably every post about tire fitment. I appreciate all the info on this forum. I have an opportunity to buy four wheels and tires that I would like to try and fit on my stock 2009 trd sport DC. I read the 285/70's /17 will rub ... but will they still rub if I put on Spidertrax 1.25 spacers? The new wheels are 17" w/ 4.5 backspacing that have the 285/70/17's on them. Thank you for your advice.

Mike. It was very nice talking to you . I ran 265/75/16 no rub at all on stock shock . Then I change 265/70/17 Handkook dynapro ATM and all 4 billy @1.75"no rub . If you run 285 on stock shocks you will rub very bad unless 2.5" lift with 285/70/17 on stock wheels with spacers you must trim a bit and have to remove front flaps.

Do you still want spidertrax ? Im ready to let them go .
