I know they are scattered about this site, but trying to get a good idea of what 265/75/16's would look like without a lift...pics?

    Thanks,

depending on the tire they may rub on the front mud flaps. you can either trim a bit off or remove them altogether.... i think it looks better without them personally. they do stuff the wheel wells up pretty good... till you lift the front end up 2.5" heh then you're basically back to square one

Been thinking of upsizing when I need new tires as well. What, if any, MPG change did you see?

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone but you probably would not see a MPG difference (at least not an accurate one) because your speedometer would be slightly off with the larger tires.

yes and no, as soon as you goto a larger tire, you increase the rolling resistance of the vehicle. the weight of the tire (and rims) will also make a huge difference. i saw a drop of around 2-3mpg average just going from the 245/75 to 265/75 tires. mind you i also have the 4banger...

Here's mine: I do have the rear suspension TSB, and also have the front up a little with the Bilstein 5100s, but it's only up a little bit. There are a few more pics in my gallery. No rub issues, and the speedo is actually dead accurate now, given that with stock tires, most speedos actually overestimate speed a bit.

265/75/R16 Goodyear Duratrac Wranglers, stock height (for now).

They rubbed a little a lot on the mudflaps, so they had to go. I also had to do some minor heating and remolding of the bottom rear of the fender. Nothing major, took about 5 minutes per side and the rubbing went away.

Not the best pic, but you get the idea.

Cooper ST 265/75/16 on stock OR Rims.

No rubbing. I trimmed 2-3 inches off of the front mudflaps, not because they were rubbing, but because they were ridiculously long.

The tires work great, no problems in the ice and snow. I got 10-ply and they were still a lot cheaper than the ever popular BFGs A/T. I'm guessing my mpg went down a little, not sure though because I got the tires after only 45 miles on the truck (tire place bought the almost new stock tires off of me). I'm between 16 and 17 mpg city driving and I drive like an old lady.
