Upsizing tire questions

Have the 2008 base Tacoma with OE 15 inch rims and tire size 215/70/15.

I'm really not looking to go up in rim size or anything along those lines.

225/70/15 or 225/75/15 look like possible choices.

How much of an effect would a size like 25/75/15 have on things like gas mileage, speedometer reading, fit/not rubbing.

Wonderful looking truck, tires are just a tad small. Kinda like the fat guy with chicken legs a little bit.
