I'm running on LT275/65/R18 Cooper Discover STT's right now, but they are about as bald as I'm willing to go on the truck. I'd like to replace them.

There was some initial rubbing with these. Should I go a little lower? What's a great off-roading + winter tire (IE, if it has a lot of tread knobs, I'm good in the snow here in Utah).

I'm doing some research and reading through the forum, as well. I like the Cooper Discover tires, albeit a bit noisy.

    BTW, 2007 Taco 4x4 V6 SR5

285/60/18's, or 265/70/18's or 265/65/18's, or if you trim some 285/65/18's would work

I've got 265/65/18's, no rubbing on 1.75" of lift.

I have a 1" leveling lift on the front. What big knobby tires would you all recommend for Daily Driver and snow control? The Discover STT's were very nice last winter, but wear fast and are very noisy. They lasted me 25k miles give or take.
