I just bought the BFG at Ko tires 265/70/17 load range E and they are great tires. The Place I got them from didn't do alignment, so I took it to the dealer for alignment. They couldn't do It! apparently on these tires there is a rim porotector on the sidewall that makes the bead come past the lip of the rim where the alignment sensor heads mount to. I went to 6 different big name tire and alignment places and no one could do it, and no one has the lug mounted alignment heads. Finally after much searching I found a new lift shop that has some new system that mount to the tires, not the rims so they can do any wheels. I just wanted to let you all know about this problem so you can get it aligned before you get these tires.
