I have been searching and looking far and wide and can not seem to find a clear answer. I am wondering, especially those with experience, will 245/75R16 fit on a 2nd gen 5-lug with stock suspension? I have found that the largest tire that will fit on the stock 15s are 235/75s and I almost went this route, but the I had to take it one step further.

I don't think so, but I haven't tried it. I think there may be one or two folks on here who have tried 31" tires on the stock suspension. I had 30x9.5 before installing a lift and had to remove the black box so they wouldn't rub. FWIW, the readylift and TC mid travel kits both recommend 245/75/16 tire size for after the lift.

    thanks afd

actually knowing that the recommended tire size after the lift is 245/75R16 answers my question.
