Camry wheels on my 08 Tacoma

I am a new member. Recently purchased a new 08 2-wd Tacoma ex-cab. I saw where I think it is Hammer who says )4 Camry wheels will fit this truck. What do you think. I was told by the dealership they would only bolt on but shake a lot. Please help.

Thanks, Richard

Why go with camry wheels, when there are so many other choices in the world? And probably better prices.

the bolt patern is exactly the same. Backspacing is nearly the same, and offset nearly the same, if the tires are of good quality, the balancing is proper and the wheels are straight, there is absolutly no reason for a vibration or shaking. Sounds like the guy has no clue what he's talkin about and probably has no business in the automotive feild

Possibly because the Tacoma wheels are hub centric while the Camry's are lug centric.

if that was the case that the hub on the camery is larger than the one on the taco, then the use of a hub adapter for the cost of about 12 bucks a set would fix this

I like it, looks good, just dont like the idea of changing the sensors(tpms) that can get costly, i got the same truck, i like the look(kinda oem)
