    Hey Fellas,

I looked over the TIRES TIRES TIRES sticky and just wanted an opinion as to what would be best for a direct stock replacement. I don't do any offroading and don't plan on it seeing as though I have a prerunner. I have stock 17s cause I have the sport package. I'd much rather have some insight from you guys than the dealership.

If you like the original tires, why not get the same ones?

If you're not planning on serious offroading I'd suggest the Michelin LTX AT2s. Fantastic tire. Pricey but well worth it.

... ^^^ ... I put the Michelin LTX AT2s on at 12,500 and they are super. Traded in my old tires at Discount Tire and did the deal there ($200.00 for the OEM BFGs)

x2, that's what I'm planning on going with when I get new treads. Especially if you're mainly onroad, the AT2's are more than you'd need and they wear faster than the MS2's.

I just replaced mine with the MS2's. I like the AT2's but couldn't get past the fact that they have NO treadwear warranty.

My tires barely passed inspection (stock.. almost 37k on them), so I'm about to upgrade to the Yokohama Geolander ATS. Like you, I also have the PreRunner and don't do any offroading. These don't seem like they can be beat for the price ($504 + shipping from Tire Rack).

Wow...my tires barely passed inspection at only 22,000 miles. They are the BS Dueller H/T's and I hated them.

Firestone Destinations are a pretty good price if that is important. If cost isn't important, get the Michelin's. They get outstanding reviews but are a bit pricey.

If you're not going to be doing any serious offroading, look into the Open Country A/T's (or even the H/T's for a quieter ride).
