After removing the black box....

    I needed to cut the fender and remove the black box for new rims. Do you need to re-line the area again, or just left it alone? What did you use (a Rhinex type spray)? Does the black box not really do anything ,or was it not a good idea to remove it?

    I didn't do anything to the area after cutting the liner and removing the box. If you're worried about it then it might be a good idea to spray the area with some undercoating or something like that. The area behind the liner was painted, so I'm not too worried but I live in the south and we don't get that much snow/ice ie. road salt.
