I've been reading around TW for an answer to this question for days, and finally I'm saying "frig it" (Canadian) and I'm starting a new thread.

I have a 2003, V6 SR5 (4x4) and I'd really like to put some Pro Comp Rock Crawlers (Series 98) on for my next set.

And here we go...drumroll...DUH...does anyone know if they will fit?

    They're the 16x8s, 6 on 5.5 with 4.25" backspacing.

Apologies if the answer to this question is on here somewhere, because I honestly have tried very hard to find it.

Any advice on this would be awesome. Also, when I do get my wheels sorted out, I'll post some pics (and hopefully return the good favour).

Thanks for the reply. That's great news if you're sure about it!

I'll be running 32s (265/75R16) for a little while, then upsizing to 285/75s in the next month or so.

Might have to trim some with the 285's, I know you would on a 2nd gen. Can't help you out with the 1st gen.

Well, after a LOT of screwing around with a local dealer, I got a free set of 1.2" wheel spacers and my wheels went on just fine. Had to trim a little and flattened/cut the pinch weld, but now I'm more than happy with how it turned out.

I've had them on for a couple of weeks now and they're working out great! Had a nice little crawl up a steep rock face with a few buddies and when I took my second line I had NO rub.

Anyway, enough yammerin' - here she is.

And again, with my buddy's '02 step side in the background...

TacoMan79, I know this is much later but I am looking at the same rims for my truck, those look awesome! did you have to add the spacer for clearance on the caliper of because of a bigger tire? I was thinking to go from 265's to the next size up...any info would be most helpful :D

Bringing it back for what I guess will be an annual appearance and because I read a post from another guy who was in a similar situation. I ordered my 16 inch 98s from 4wp. I know, I know...but I got a great price and was having a hard time finding the flat black 98s I wanted and the tires together so I bought the bullet. Yes, they still are saying they won't fit, but I don't fault the csr. I'm sure there is a note on screen..and when I asked him why they don't clear the calliper, he said it was the way the angle on the back is. Wheelers them self indicate that many aftermarket wheels have a fit issue with the calliper so I would rather have 4wp caution me than say nothing. In any event, I have 1.25 spidertrax that will fix the clearance issue and they'll stay on for my 17 inch rims that I'll run in the winter so no big deal:)
