I have some plain 16x7J steelies on my 02 Tacoma (4x4, 4cyl) that aren't looking so hot and missing 2 center caps, so...

I know these wheels are also 16x7J with the 6 bolt 5.5" pattern, but I do not have any information on backspacing. I want to transfer my current tires which are still in good shape over to these - will they bolt right up no problem? Might they rub anything?

I'm not sure about the 16x7, but I had the stock 2008 TRD Sport wheels (17" - 6 by 5.5 bolt pattern) and gave them to my buddy who has a 98 Tacoma. They fit his truck perfectly.

those should work just fine. if you did a lift and all, you may need spacers, but with the current setup, you should be ok!

So the backspacing is the same on both wheels? There is only about 0.5-1" clearance between my 265/70/16 tire and the upper control arm.

thats the only thing im not too sure of is the back spacing.....but if you leave 265/70's on their, you'll probably be fine. do you have a dc or ac?? i have heard that those wheels will work on a reg. cab or an ac, but not too good on a dc without a spacer........with the size of 265/75/16, so i think you will be fine.

I have the access cab, everything is stock on the suspension.

Hah, I need to try and find one of these rims in RL and just try mounting it for clearance check!

i think they will fit fine, but it would be a wise decision to make totally sure before you buy them.
