I was on the back roads in Arizona today and lasted 10 minutes before I ruined one of my OEM tires. I had a one inch rock cut in the center of the tire. These tires are 215/70r15 and I can't seem to find a heavy duty replacement in that size. I hope they exist because I am not really interested in a lift job. Any ideas?

215/75/15 would be fine, it's 5% taller, and would open up the options of a heavier duty tire for you. Hope this helps and PM me if you have any other questions...

A local place has a website that lets you search by size and nothing came up for your size that's load range C or higher. They were all passenger or standard load tires (load range B). I'm assuming you wanted something heavier than that?

You can get goodrich long trails in 225/70R15

But yeah, at that size you seem stuck with passenger tires.

Yes I want something heavier. A rock popped my front tire even while I was going slow with no load. Thanks for the help.
