Tire size.

2007 DBL cab,black, Sport/towing pkg, 6ft box, 4.0L . its stock(1000kms only so far)

New to the forum and I imagine that this has been asked quite abit before.......but Can the 285/70/R17's BF Goodrich A/T KO tires fit on my truck without rubbing?Can i go bigger yet?

If you want that tire size but you want to stay with the stock wheels then you will get rubbing on the fender liner and also on the upper control arm. You need a wheel with less offset. Less offset will move the tire further away from the suspension, which will give you room for a bigger tire. 4.5" offset is what I have.

pb2themax, I assume you mean 4.5" of backspacing? Also, CODERED, since you have an '07, you will have to make sure any new wheels will be compatible with the tire pressure sensors that are in your TRD Sport rims.

Thanks for the input. i think i will just stay stock. less hassle and put some money into the intake and exhaust.

If you go with 285 tires you will be rubbing pretty hard. You need atleast a 3 inch lift to fit tires that big.

Yeah, I mean backspacing. Offset is the opposite of backspacing

Question need to know

I have 06 2 wd tocoma access cab with 215/70r-15 tires on it now will 235/70r-15 fit with no problems
