So i am looking at buy some moto metal 957 with a 4.5 backspace. heres my dilemma I lifted my truck and for whatever reason with 265 70 16 nitto at's my right front tire rubbed the LCA at full lock. it was aligned and everything So i bought spidertrax and fixed that problem. NOW if i bought these 957's and got 285 70 17 tires will the back spacing be large enough to keep that tire from rubbing??????

Most poeple running 285's have to trim a significant amount of the fender well and chop the cab mount in order to not rub, even with 4.5" backspacing and a 3" lift.

    Some do, some don't.

You don't rub at all, even at full lock and flexed?
