Does anybody know if the 17 inch moto metal 950 chrome wheels will fit on a 2011 (or 2010) tacoma TRD sport? I have been told by different companies yes and no. I don't want to modify the truck suspension if I don't have to.

The stock 17 inch rims come with 265/65/17 tires, which would become 265/70/17 after this upgrade since the stock tires are garbage.

Any and all input welcome, since I really don't know enough about this topic to make any intelligent comments on here...

    thanks guys

Do a search for Moto Metal 950. There are many threads on this. They make them for the Tacoma. Only size for 17s appears to be 17x8. Here is a link where someone was selling a set of them.

Never heard of any 17's not fitting on a tacoma, provided they are the correct lug pattern and backspacing.

Some brands of 16's rub the caliper.

Thanks for the reply. I have done extensive searching of this and another forum. It seems most people who have the 17 moto metals have a 3 inch lift at least if they are using 265/70/17 tires.

my 2 local dealers both say you can't buy these rims for the tacoma sport model. That means I have to buy them online and install them myself, hence my questions.
