Original BFG KM's

4 BFG KMs (the original, not the KM2's). 1 is brand new the other 3 have 3/4 tread. All four for $225.00 Would you do it?

No pics. the new one still has the sticker on it. The other 3 seem evenly worn, no plugs and have 75% tread left. Size is 285/75-16 which they no longer make.

 

Gotta take them today or they are gone...anyone recommend these tires? Manufactured the 9th week of 2008

i haven't run them personally, but seen them on numerous vehicles, and hear good things about them. 3/4 tread left is still a lot on those tires. and for $225, if they aren't damaged or anything, seems like a good deal.

Yeah, its a good deal it seems, but I keep thinking what if I cut one or something else? There are none to be found and i would have to run an oddball tire. Also gonna need a 285 spare i guess. Seems most arent too fond of running a smaller spare for whatever reason.

 

I ran the original BFG MT for years, and was very happy with performance. I would take that deal in a second.

Buy yourself another new BFG MT to match the other new one. Put the new tires in front, used tires in the rear, and use the other used tire as your spare. The new tire will run around $200. So for around $425 you'll have great tires for atleast another 30K miles.

 

That would be great, but they have stopped making the KM in that size and I cant find another one anywhere, new or used.
