    Mine were made in October 2005... Sounds like they were almost new when they were put on my '06. I'll be checking tires for the dates from now on.

    I think buying tires from your local dealers you will be pretty safe, but where the problem has surfaced is buying automotive and motorcycle tires from internet web sites you might be buying some old tires.
