I am about to get new rims on my truck but can't decide between 20's or 22's. I have a 2006 double cab 4wd. I've only been able to locate a couple of pics thus far. Can you post pics of your truck if you have 20's or 22's? Please list the rim and tire size when posting. If you don't have pics, can you give me a link to some? Thanks.:)

Please don't. They will look crappy on a 4wd.

Bump... I am looking for 20's for my 07 prerunner too. Thanks for your input on bigjim's inquiry, yotaman, but I personally think bugshields look like crap. So, to each their own, right?

I found it helpful to go through everyone's pictures on this site. Just go to the members pictures section. I also went to ebay and searched for the size rims I wanted. Some will be selling with tires on them and that will give you a good idea of the tire size compared to the rim size.

Hey bigjim, I think you should go with the biggest wheel you can afford. The bigger, the better. I personally am getting 20 inch for my 07 double cab 4x4. I would get bigger but I wouldn't be able to afford replacing those expensive tires every time I needed new ones. 20 inch tires are expensive but not as much as 22 inch and bigger. The only thing that I suggest is that if you have a 4x4 like I do, go with all terrain tires or mud tires. I recently traded in my 05 Prerunner for my 07 4x4. In my opinion, if you have a 4x4, take advantage of its capabilities. If I still had my prerunner, I would go with 22 inch with low profile tires. That way I wouldnt have to mess with the suspension. They would fit perfect and look awesome. But since my truck is 4x4, I ordered the Cruiser Alloy Prowl in 20 inch and am going with Nitto Terra Grabbler.

I am looking into 22s for my 07.....but the trick is, getting them to tuck nicely once I bag it. I definitely wanna lay frame so I am seeing what it will take to body drop, and C-notch the frame. Only thing I am worried about is where I am going to place everything that has to be moved under the hood to get the wheels to fit up in there nicely. That's one reason for going with the 4cyl 2WD. But those are plans for the future. Right now just the 22s and my subs are all that's on the table for 2007. That will give me enough work for 1 year ;-)
