So far 5,000 miles on my Pro Comp Xtreme M/T and looking brand new :-) Very quiet ride and overall pretty good on those rainy days.

I've had mtzs on my old jeep. they performed very well in all offroad applications and they were a tough tire, I think they had reinforced sidewall or something. they made some pretty noticeable noise on the road, but nothing compared to nitto mud grapplers.

my friend now has my old jeep and he put on some firestones. I like the look of them. and they ride pretty good. and they perform just as well as the mtz. I think there a bit quieter on the road.

imo you can't go wrong with either tire.... but ill throw my vote in for the mtzs....

im getting the destination MT's put on monday morning, i have read alot of good about them, but also alot of bad. it would appear that the bad is mostly coming from AZ, CA, and TX where its hot as a motherfucker and the tires start to chunk on rocks...

Had them on an F350. They chunked real bad up here. But they'd be fantastic in cold weather due to not turning into hockey pucks.
