just looking at all the trucks with 285's makes me wish i got those instead. i do like my 265/70 17's bfg's. it does rub on the mud flaps and i didn't want to chop the cab mounts with 285's, but i think 285's look perfect on these trucks.:(

I think you truck looks great with the 265's. Do you have to chop the cab mounts to fit 285's?

thanks. it's a hit or miss with the 285's, some do some don't and i didn't want to take the chance. if i did get 285's and had to chop, i wouldn't know where to go also.

It's never ending...I had the same issue. I had KM2 265's, currently KM2 285's and ready to get some 35's. FML.

Here are my 285's and I'm going to do the mount chop because the tire is really aggressive and it does hit... But I think it's also because I have 1.5" AP wheel spacers. :D

Ok, that's it. When my tires wear out in maybe 50,000 miles or so. I'm getting 285's. Your truck looks badass!

I think you might as well go straight to 35s because once you get 285s, you'll be looking at all the owners with 35s and wish you could have gone to that instead.

Im running 305s and didnt have to chop/grind anything. I just had to remove the mud flaps. No rub at all except when heavy flexing.

running 285's, just had to take my front flaps of and do some minor fender trimming. Looks great, but if you like your gas mileage, keep the 65's

These are my 305/70/16 Kumho's on 16x8 wheels with with 4" backspacing at full lock (drivers side) and 3" of lift. I have never rubbed the body mount, even offroad. Trimed lots of plastic but no rubbing on anything. Your castor setting as a lot to do with whether you'll rub the body mount or not. 3" of lift with the stock UCA's in my case = no body mount rub.
