Hey, everyone i would like to start off by saying this is my first post and thread on the forum. I am new so take it easy on me please! I had been waiting for a year to pick out the right truck for me. I went and bought a 4 door 2003 Tacoma 4X4 TRD SR5. I dont know to much about the suspension on the truck, but it does have a lift. I believe it is a 3 inch suspension, the front end shocks have been replaced with aftermarket ones. All i know is the springs are now blue, could it be fabtech?

Anyhow back to the tires and rims, I am running 265/70/r16, these are stock rims with i think dakota A/ts. There is alot of space in the wheel wells because of the lift and makes my truck look dumb with small tires.

I would like to run 18"X8.5 rims with 275/70/r18 General Grabbers (New edition)

My question is would they rub?
What kind of adjustments would i need to make?
Also will the black rims look good on my silver truck?
Will these tires be wide on 8.5s?

I will try to get pictures soon, so everyone can have an idea.
    Thanks ahead for everyones help!!!

I have 285/75/R17 on xmd122's that rub (3" lift on the truck). Be ready to cut plastic..

It gives no specs on the wheels other than the width. To the best of my knowledge, a slight negative (0 to -12) should work ok on an 8.5" wheel. The tires should be fine on those wheels, but I need more specs on the wheel
