    While looking at some new tires for my truck i was like most of you and wondered what size i wanted to get. I finally took a look at the Tire Size chart and found out i was totally misunderstanding the different size of tires. While looking at the tires i figured 275's were automatically bigger than say 265's (taller). I was thinking about getting some 275/65/17's then seen some 265/75/17's someone posted and they looked bigger then what i was looking at. So i went to the tire chart and indeed they were. All alone i thought they were just automatically bigger.

    Isn't the first number the width of the tire. And the second number is the height,which is a percentage of the width?
