Spacer Kit + 3" Body Lift = ? Tire/Wheel Combo?

Hey y'all,

Bought an '05 Taco that already had a Revtek spacer kit and 3" body lift w/ a set of 285/75R16 Nitto Grapplers on it mounted on some MB Motoring wheels. It's always looked OK, but just not completely my style. Almost seems as if the tires are too small and too narrow for the truck, but I guess my judgement is scewed after having a Bronco on 44's

I'm looking for something that sticks out a lot more and am debating between several things:

-a set of 33's mounted on 18's
-or maybe 35's, but will they fit?
-if 35's fit, 18" or 20" wheels

I just prefer a wider stance for the truck, and yes I am more than aware that it's gonna throw crap all up the side. I have searched and have not been able to find anybody who has this combination or I have somehow missed it.

Any input or pics would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

As requested...just FYI - I took the running boards and chrome handles off the Taco cuz it was too much damn bling for me.

And yes, I know it's gay to stand in front of your truck and take the picture, but that's the only one I can find of the Bronco.

I know what you mean. I'm in the process of killing the chrome myself.

That's quite the Bronco! I not really sure what you could do to widen the stance without compromising the durability of the set up, but I think if you went to some real nobby 33's or 35's it would help. I would think that the 35's would fit with a little rubbing. Maybe even loose the roof rack. It just doesn't look right on your ride to me.

The only thing I think the roof rack is good for is deflecting tree branches, that's about it. God knows as soon as I take it off, I'll surely need it.

those 287/75/16's are 33's.....so u might wanna move up to like 35x12.5's or so to fill it in a lil bit

Yeah, they do look a little small. However, I just saw another Taco w/ 6" and 33's on 20" rims and it looks hella different then mine. Check it out...

why not buy Spidertrax 1.5"-1.75" wheel spacers, Or get 10 wide rims?

Long travel kits push your stance out a good 2" or more I think?

I know what you mean as well, having owned a 4runner, 7" lift, 37's. Awesome Bronco, very nice!

I would love to do a LT kit, but just don't have the funds necessary seeing as how I'm looking to buy a house right now. Gotta make due with what I got.

I'm def thinking about doing 20x10 to get the width and maybe going to 35's. Just gotta weigh out losing some get up and go with the 35's.
