when duckcmdr quoted 12-16mpg I assumed that as actual, not odometer.

If it's based on odometer and not actual, I could really simply recalculate everything if someone can tell me the difference between actual mileage and displayed mileage.

either way it wouldn't be a drastic difference.

How much would a OME lift from Toytec and a 265/75/ and a 16 rim effect my gas milage cause I think I get really good gas milage with my 245/75/16 tires and rims. at stock height.

I say go for it then. Bigger tires=lower RPMs on the highway=your mileage probably won't get better (because of the added weight) but it won't get too much worse, either. City driving is a different story.

FWIW I get 16 mpg avg in a V6 access cab with 2" lift and camper shell and 33x10 BFG MTs. I do not drive aggressively.

If you want to penny pinch, might want to choose a different hobby though. Tires, lift, skids, sliders, recovery gear=mucho dinero amigo.

The truck has ideal gearing for gas milage. It will take much more accelerator pressing to get the truck to move, or even maintain speed, even at highway speeds. Regearing will actually get you most of your lost mileage back, both city and highway driving.
