Width vs Diameter? for fitment concerns

    Icon Coilovers, Downsouth UCAs, rear Icon "2.5" shocks and Toytec single AAL. Still gotta do exhaust, dark headlights and re-gear the rear diff.
    Okay for fitment issues/concerns, im wondering which factor is most important (towards rubbing) when considering 2 close tire sizes for a 3in lift.
    Is width most often the culprit for rubbing fenders/cab mounts, or is it overall diameter?

    According to TW tire calculator:
    305/60/18 (32.4 dia / 12.0 width)

    295/65/18 (33.1 dia / 11.6 width)

    **18" rim with 4.5 BS

    So with all this in mind, which tire size do you know/think would rub more or less with 3in coilover lift on '08 Sport truck?

    My 255/85/16 do not rub and they are 33.3" in diameter and about 10" wide.
