    My 2003 tacoma 4x4 rims are pitted bad any suggestions.

    Are they the raw aluminum rims? My old 4runner's rims were pitted pretty badly, damn magnesium chloride. I noticed that the new rims on my Tacoma have a coat of clearcoat applied to them, which I hope will prevent pitting in the future. If the pitting is anywhere near as bad as it was on my 4Runner, I think you'd probably be better off replacing them.
