    Whats the widest rim/tire combination has anyone put on a 2nd gen tacoma with a 6" lift? (17" or 16" rim)

    Do you know the rim size? we just installed a 6" procomp, just wondering what will fit. 17x9 seems to narrow.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...

    depends on what width of tire you are wanting to run and what look you want to have. i'm running 315s on an 8" wide rim.

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

    17x9" would look good on a 33x12.5 or 35x12.5 tire but the 35's will rub like hell.

    honestly i have 18x9 rockstars and a 295/70/18 tires and it is plenty for me looks perfect to me i have a pro comp 6 inch also

    He also has a coil spacer lift on top of his drop bracket, so he's at 9" of lift.
