xd addicts how will these look?

with 5.71 in" backspacing and +18 offset

vs
the 4.5 backspace and the +12 offset?

If the wheels are the same width, the 4.5" backspacing ones will stick out 1" further.

But I can see these rims are not the same width because of the offset (or the offset is wrong).

The rim needs to be 7" wide for +12 offset to equal 4.5" backspacing. I assume you (or the website you got the specs from) actually meant -12 mm offset, which would be 4.5" BS on a 9" wide wheel (which is much more common aftermarket size).

5.71" backspacing is +18mm offset only for a ~9" rim.


As for which wheel is better suited for your needs: What size tires do you want to run? Do you have a lift?

 

The KMC addicts only come in 9" wide for 17' and 18" rims. As for the offset, I believe the 5.71" bs is +18 and the 4.5" bs is -12.
