Larger tires / much alignment effect?

Pondering the effect larger tires may have on alignment... say for the sake of going up one size vs. going up two or more tires sizes above the OEM rubber.

What can a person expect to see the most variance in?

Significant changes in caster or camber or both?

I'm guessing toe will be least influenced?

I'm thinking the larger diameter tire will have some effect on caster, just wondering if anyone else found it notable.

 

It will still drive fine, but your old alignment probably won't be good for handling AND tire wear. Larger tires deform differently, usually with more rollover at the edges. Running a higher PSI can help this, but even then you'll see some scrubbing of the shoulders of the tread blocks.

Once you go to a larger tire size, it's best to dial in your new preferred alignment by trial and error.

 

They won't throw it out, but they may wear differently/poorly, and for best wear he may want to re-adjust his alignment.

 

Tire changes dont effect alignment. Only changing the height of the suspension(lift kit) for the tires
