that is for stock tires. If you go larger size and different load ranges, that sticker goes out the window

DuraTrac Air Pressure

I'm wondering the same thing. I got the DuraTracs 265/75-16 Load Range E, from Discount Tire and they put them on with 32psi. And my MPG went from about 19.5 to about 16.5 mpg. When I got my oil changed I asked them to fill them up and they also said it was supposed to be 32psi like the door panel says.

I'm with Yoytoda though, I think when its a different size and/or load range that door sticker goes out the window (because that's recommended for 245/75-16). I emailed the Goodyear manufacture to ask, but never got a response.

On my actual tires it says, "Max Load Single (3415 lbs) at (80 psi) COLD". So, I aired the tires up to 45 psi and noticed I'm getting 17-18 MPG. I don't want to over-inflate them, but if we could be getting better gas mileage it sure would be nice to know how much air is recommended.

p.s. KPT what is the chalk test?

I just had my Duratracs put on at Discount Tire, C load range.
They set them puppys at 42psi and said that was what they recommend I run them at for driving on pavement. I thought it was a little high so I will be busting out the Chalk Test soon.

Does anyone have these tires siped? Curious if it will help with the life span of the tire.

The tire shop ran mine up to 35. I chalked them and the test showed they were overinflated. I dropped them to stock pressures and the test came out better. These are load range C tires.
