Bald at 13K?!? Do you do burnouts all the time or something? I sold mine w/ 27k on them and they easily had another 10-15k out of them.

Did you rotate the tires? You might need an alignment.

Here is a pic of my old set with about 25k miles on them.

You forgot to mention your alignment is off. Don't blame the tires when the alignment is to blame.

I've got about 25k on mine and expect another 20k or so, maybe more. I've been very pleased with these tires. I had a pointed rock puncure mine as well but that could happen to any tire.

I did get them aligned with every oil change. Rotated everyother other oil change. Sure I chirped the tires every now and again but never did a single burn out with them

Somehow at 18 years old I don't believe this. When I was 18 I was roasting the tires every chance I could get, doing FWD tray slides in parking lots, taking corners as fast as I could. My dad always wondered why I had to buy new tires every 10-15k miles :D actually...he probably knew why.

actually now that u mention it i did, once, in the rain, did one tokyo drift around a turn haha but i really didnt abuse my tires unless u call the occasional offroading/mudding "abuse" i didnt torture them because i knew that i had to pay for the next set of tires so i took it easy on them, got them aligned and rotated regularly. psi 32-34

So you've rotated them once? You either have alignment issues or you're abusing your tires. Everyone else seems to be getting good mileage out of these.

I got mine right when they came out too. I went out on a limb with these tires (couldnt find much info because they were so new) but I've been happy with my purchase. Perhaps you did get a bad set. BTW I have billies set at 2.5 and my alignment isn't perfect and these tires ust keep chugging along.
