Tire size help, need pointers!

I recently bought an 03 4 door taco and I'm wondering what size tires to put on her. It's my everyday truck so I'm not going all out on it I'm about to put probably a 3 inch body lift on it and I'm not sure what size tires to put up there I'm probably going with a set of bfg ATs but I just don't know what size I should go with considering it's one of my daily drivers. Any pointers?

What size is on there now, and do you want bigger than what's on it now? Are your wheels 15" or 16"?
I wouldn't recommend putting a body lift on your truck, but if you really do lift it 3" the best size would probably be 265/75/16. With that size, you won't have any rubbing issues and it keeps it basically stock

Yeah X2 don't put a body lift on and really not a 3" just save your money and get a 3" suspension lift.

Yea but don't suspension lifts f*ck with the geometry of the truck and wirings?

I can't think of a single way a suspension lift would mess with any wiring....

@KTP, aren't suspension lifts more expensive as well? An I'm going for more looks than anything because where I live there's pretty much nothing but mudding, no hills, no rocks, and pretty much no trails where you'd need a suspension lift.

My main thing with body lifts is that they look terrible IMO. The frame already is so exposed on our truck at stock height.

Suspension lifts aren't that expensive. You can get bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks for the front for $180, and a add-a-leaf for the rear for $80. Then you're good to go.

Oh really, that's it. I thought they were more than that? is the bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks worth getting for just occasional mudding/trail rider? Or a suspension lift at all?
