I have a 2004 doublecab 2x4. Im about to purchase a 2.5"leveling kit as well as 1.5" blocks for the rear. Im looking to put 285/75/16 Definity Dakota m/t. Will they fit? aslo, what does backspacing have to do with it?

is it a prerunner? i have 285/50R20 on mine. im selling them cause i dont want 20 any longer. but they fit. so 31's or 33's of you add spacer. i got the rough counrty 2.5 lift on mine. they only silghtly rub when backing up and cutting it to the right. but its not bad. [IMG]

if you want to run 33's your gonna need wheel spacers. unless you get after market rims with a different offset. if you dont you'll be hitting the upper a-arm. my 285's are 32.7"inches tall which is about the same as some 33's and im about 1/4" away from the a-arm with the truck on the ground. if i lift in in the air the tires hit the a-arm and wont turn. what are you looking for? look or function?

I want it for both look and function. I just want to make sure i get the biggest tire i can. I just didnt know spacers would be so expensive.

Will i have trouble with the tires hitting the wheel wells? will i have to shave them down?
