Question about the backspacing: It's 4.5", and from the pics I see this gives tires a little bit wider stance than stock.

Those of you with these wheels--how much more mud do your wheels throw on the side of the truck with stock fenders? I'd especially like to hear from those of you running 265's.

Hard to see it but it was pretty liquidy and got my whole truck muddy. This is also without front mud flaps.

I would not go again. It was such a pain to wash all of it off, especially because I waited a week to wash it. And now my entire engine compartment and underside is splattered with dried mud!

    Nice truck!
Thanks! ...and that's what I was afraid of. Around here we have a couple of very muddy seasons. Everybody thought my green taco was brown.

    Others?

Yeah, they stick out a little. This is before my truck got bushwackers. 265/75/16 Duratracs.

Even with the bushwackers, the truck gets pretty dirty, but I haven't heard many rocks hitting the body. But I don't drive down any gravel roads either...
If the stock front flaps could work with the bushwackers, they would be on.

Thanks - I've said it before and I'll say it again--that is a great looking truck!

I imagine that without the bushwackers your truck would be quite a bit dirtier.

    I STILL love the countersteers...

Lemme just clarify that I was LOOKING for large mud puddles and would speed up to hit them. hence the amount of mud covering the truck. Without the mud flaps up front and normal driving, I have very little amount of dirt/mud thrown on the truck from the amount the tires stick out. I am very pleased with my choice of wheels. Love the aggressive stance of the 4.5" backspacing and they don't rub.

Okay- thanks! These are at the top of my list for aftermarket wheels if i go that route. They do look awesome.

Out of curiosity, why did you decide to get rid of the mudflaps?

on the mudflap thing. I got rid of the stocks for clearance issues and put on these thin rubber ones from napa. just cut to fit and left them stick outside the fender about 1/4 inch and they block lots of stuff :D I use stock mount points and fender push plugs to secure them.

Coming up on a year with my Konig Countersteers and I love them! I ended up getting them in grey and I think they match my MGM Tacoma perfectly. Not to mention Dustin has fantastic customer service! Great dude!

Here's a picture of my truck when they were installed last April.

I like the look of the rubber ones. I may put some back on if we actually get some rain out here in CA. I took off the stock ones because I liked the look without them, and the little front ones rubbed at full lock with the Konigs so they went bye bye

Just took the truck out to Hungry Valley OHV. Lots of wet sand and thick mud puddles. While I wasn't going for speed this time, this is how much mud I accumulated after running trails all day without front mud flaps (and no spacers). And I don't even have bushwhackers. Love my Countersteers!!!

I run mine with full flaps and have never noticed mud as an issue.

So I'm needing feedback. I have an BSP 2010 Double cab. I love these wheels but I'm trying to decide between the Konig Countersteer 16x8 in Matte Black or Graphite Gunmetallic. I can't decide if the GG would look good on an otherwise all black truck. What do yall think? I'm pretty confident the matte black would look good but I'm interested in mixing it up a little. Just wish I could see them in person before I put them on haha.

I got the 6 shooters, very similar to the Countersteers in Gun Metal installed yesterday. I hope this pic comes through. If not I'll repost[IMG]

Looking at buying some for my 15 DCLB SR5 4x4 silver sky metallic. Agonizing between graphite and black, and would like to see what others have done.

Anyone have these colors on a silver sky truck?
