    When i bought my 17x9's from 4wheel parts it was buy 3 get 1 free and $40 to ship....$486 total....got lucky!

    i have been told 16x8 rims wont fit on a trd sport :[

    sooo, 17x9 will fit on 285/70/17(belive thats the size) right?

    Someone needs to speak up on the 16x8's. I think with the proper BS they will. As far as 17x9's they most definitely will w/285/70/17's.

    im getting my lift installed on sunday and getting my rims and tires thursday proabably..when should i get the alignment done?

    When you get a chance. Its not that big of a rush. I still haven't aligned mine. Its been months.

    I wouldn't think it matters. However I have run into some trouble getting mine aligned the dealerships around here say they can't align my truck because of the rims and tires. I have a lip on the tires that protects the rim from curbs. (not that I need it but it came with the tires.) Here's a pick of the lip.

    And then they claim the design on the rim stops them from putting their machine on without scratching the rim.

    I have found an alignment shop that will do it I just haven't gone yet. The dealership wanted me to put my factory rims and tires back on to get it aligned, I just didn't feel like doing that.

    What do you mean by almost debadged? You should post up a few pics sounds like the truck looks pretty good.

    We have a thread about it somwhere, personally I have never removed a vinyl.

    It's not so much of the backspacing and offset but more of the design of the spokes on the rims. Also, I have heard that depending where your Tacoma is manufactured there is a slightly different brake caliper used. I might just order a single rim and do a test fit.
