    Hey Guys,

I am thinking about buying the following:
It is the Fuel Hostage Black rims - 20x9 with the Nitto Trail Grappler Tires - 305/55/R20
I have a 2010 magnetic grey access cab truck with a 3" lift (3 up front, 1 on the back) I have the grill craft grill as well if that makes a difference.
    http://www.rimzoneonline.com/produc...-20x10-Fuel-Hostage-Blk-30555-20-Nitto-Trail/

I was wondering what people think about those tires on my truck and whether anyone has pictures with a similar setup (fuels on MG). Also, will I need to do a lot of trimming for these tires?

    Thanks in advance!

I think 20s will look too big on Tacomas....besides, would that combo even come close to fitting without rubbing all hell?

Depends on the backspacing for how much it will rub. And I say x2 about the 20s being too big, go for an 18 inch rim so you can have some kind of a sidewall on the tires.

I have the fuel mojaves on those same tires with 5.75" of lift and had to do some trimming of the flares and its REAL close to the body mount. I think you'll have to to some major trimming. There is pics of mine in the show your spindle lift thread.

Wow nice setup! Those tires are only slightly over 33" so should fit with 3" lift. However they're wide enough that depending on wheel specs may need some trimmming. Personally my view is that 20s scream "street queen mall crawler" and nittoTG are an awesome looking offroad tire, so mildly contradictory themes. But since they are blacked out, it should look sick as hell. I'd go with 18s or smaller IMO, but it's your truck. I'd also compare weight differences with big wheel setups.

I think it would look good, will most likely have to do the cab mount chop mod

Thanks guys! I appreciate the input. I know a lot of people don't like 20's and I agree, it does cry out pavement princess. But, where I am at, EVERYONE has 33s on 17s or 18s. I just want something different, I mean that is part of the reason we mod our trucks right? JKlam, what size lift and tires do you have? I was talking with the mechanic today and he said with some minor trimming it will be fine for majority of use. He said for hard offroading, it isn't ideal (obviously) but for what I will be using it for 99.9 percent of the time (to and from work) it will be great.
would this be pretty much the same as a 33/12.5/20??

x10 on the 20's i had 20's on my tundra and every time i went off road or even over a curb i was worried about not having a sidewall. I have 18's on my Taco now and i thinkthey look great

    Thanks!

I am confused because guys say that the 33/12.5 fits but I am hearing from different people that 305s will be such a problem. Once again, I will NOT be offroading to any extreme in my vehicle, if I was, then I would get 33s on 16s or 17s

I have 33s on a 2.5" lift and have rubbing at full lock, so you will need to trim to clear them, but as to how severe it would be, I'm not sure on that.

Thanks, I think thats where everyone has different opinions. I mean people might think that if they are full out offroading and it rubs slightly, they say it doesnt work, whereas I won't be doing that so I would consider that as working.

Well, After much contemplation, I decided to get the XD Monsters (18x9 with a -12 offset) wrapped in 285/65/18 Nitto Trail Grapplers. Once I get them in 2 weeks I will have some pictures up! (or maybe do a build thread since I have much done to my truck)

I'd love to see them since I'm gonna buy that same size rim and that exact tire!!! Yes, post pics! :D
