285/70/17. Took off mud flaps and did a little trimming with my dremel on the plastic that's towards the front of the wheel. No Rubbing at all now when I do those sharp turns. The tire fits in there nicely with hardly any room to spare.

I think I will go with that tire size next time because I noticed that the truck doesn't accelerate like it used to. Maybe that size tire would help with this issue. Oh and nice looking wheels. I had considered that style.

can anyone elaborate on this please...i want to go with 285 as well but i did not think about acceleration...if there is an issue at acceleration then there going to be an issue at stopping as well...

all i can say is that i have the 285 bf mud, and i do too noticing that the truck lost some power

Does anyone know if the BFG ATs are heavier than the Nitto TGs? Also, how heavy are the stock TRD sport 17" Duelers.

It seems to me the weight would have the most effect on the acceleration.
