275/70 vs 285/70

    Well I know the 285's are going to be a little bigger but are they really going to use much more gas than the 275's? The 275's are $100 dollars more for such a uncommon size so I really don't know if it's really worth more rather thankuat getting the 285's. Opinions please?

    I'm going to say yes. Most if not all 285s come in load range D or E vs the 275s can be had in a C. Not only the height, but weight also makes a difference.
