I have a 2001 Prerunner that is currently stock and looking to change out wheels and tires. I was wondering what size tire would fit best with an 18" rim? I would still like to get a set of A/T or M/T tires. If 18"s will not work I know I could always go with a 17 and use what ever comes stock on an FJ crusier. Thanks

I put 18's on my 09 Tacoma and have regretted it ever since. A limited number of manufacturers produce 265/70R18 or 275/65R18 and the ones that do cost you more per tire. For my next set I will be going with the Buckshots and leaving the 18's, but if I had to do it all over I would never have bought them. Look good but not not worht the expense and trouble.

Don't know if it would be the same for your 01, but thats the way it is for my 09.

265/65/18 is the equivalent size to the wildly popular 265/75/16.

    I'm running the 265/6518 s
