I like the look of the Moto Metals MO961 or the Ballistic Jesters. both of these have the star pattern, somewhat thinner arm vs. thicker arms like the Moto MO951.

I like clean looks, not all the fake bolts and rivets that so many wheels have. Cheesy cheesy. I prefer machined faces with black contrast. I'm not really into chrome either. So many choices that are close but just not "it" for me. Size 16" or 17" by 8"9" okay. Need 4.5" backspacing for our 4x4 Tacos.

You said you like the Ballastic Jesters but you just described them above. Those things are not only corny, but uglier than sin. I agree with ^ the Countersteers are one of the cleanest most non cluttered aftermarket wheels that look AMAZING on Tacomas.

I saw the Countersteers. Not bad but still not quite that "look" I want. I like a more concave wheel vs. convex spoke. That's why the Jesters and M0961s caught my eye. And something with the arms coming thinner towards the rim vs. thicker like the wheels on pogiboy's rig.

Keep the suggestions coming. I've looked for hours at wheels but still nothing tickles my fancy yet. Thanks boys.

I'm in the same boat as you. The only wheels worth putting on my taco at the moment are volks. But I'm not sure if I should spend that much at this time. The konigs look good. probably the best looking cheap set of wheels.

Thanks. The Volks look just like the Countersteers but for more $$.

Hmm, the Countersteers are starting to grow on me but they still look kinda plain to me.

I love the look of the BMF Novakanes but they're only for 20"+ sizes. Shucks. Keep 'em coming.

    Whatever:rolleyes:

I vote Jesters. I get more people looking and asking about these wheels than I have ever had before.

^ Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as you know... If I won a set of Jesters for Free in a contest, I'd turn around and put them for sale in this forum the second I got home.

    Sandjunkie,

I too still like the Jesters minus those bulbous fake bolts on the rims. I saw on another forum someone was able to remove those. I'm also not into the red rim trim and would like to either remove those or powdercoat them blue.

Can you see a way to remove those fake rim bolts? I might just get a set if I can remove those and put on blue trim rings.

What's the lift height on your rig? Looks great and I love that Mag Grey!

Both can be removed or never installed. They are delivered plain.

Looks Great. Are those 18 inch or 17 ? Just ordered a set but not sure what size tires to go with.
